We use PostHog to understand how visitors use this website. PostHog is a product analytics provider; our data is processed in the European Union. We do not send it your name, your email address, or anything you type into the assistant.

PostHog sets the cookie and the browser storage entries listed in section 7 only after you accept analytics cookies, and stops when you withdraw that consent.

PostHog processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy.

7. Cookies and Similar Storage We Set

Cookies are only part of the picture. This section lists every cookie this website sets, and also every entry it stores in your browser's local storage and session storage, which do the same kind of job without being cookies.

Cookies

• dmk_sid — Essential. Contains a random identifier and nothing else. It limits how many messages one visitor can send to our AI assistant, to prevent abuse, so it is set regardless of your cookie choices. Renewed each time you use the assistant; expires after 1 hour of inactivity.
• ph_<project token>_posthog — Analytics. Set by PostHog once you accept analytics cookies. Distinguishes your browser from others so we can count visits and page views. Expires after 1 year. If you withdraw analytics consent we stop collecting immediately and PostHog replaces the identifier inside this cookie with a new one, but the cookie itself remains until it expires or you clear your browser's site data. You can delete it yourself at any time through your browser.

Local storage

Local storage is kept until it is removed or you clear your browser's site data. It has no expiry date of its own.

• dmk.cookie-consent — Essential. Remembers which cookie categories you have accepted so you are not asked again. Kept until you change your preferences or clear your browser's site data.
• ph_<project token>_posthog — Analytics. The same information as the cookie of that name, which PostHog keeps in both places, and it behaves the same way if you withdraw consent.
• __ph_opt_in_out_<project token> — Analytics. PostHog's own record that you allowed analytics. It is what stops PostHog collecting anything of its own accord, independently of the preference above. Removed if you withdraw analytics consent.

Session storage

Session storage is discarded when you close the browser tab.

• ph_<project token>_posthog — Analytics. The part of the entry above that PostHog keeps only for the current tab.
• ph_<project token>_primary_window_exists — Analytics. Lets PostHog tell one tab of this site from another.
• ph_<project token>_session_registered_properties — Analytics. Names of the technical properties PostHog attaches to this tab's measurements, such as how its own code was loaded.

<project token> above is our own public PostHog identifier, not anything about you. If we ever move to a different PostHog project the token changes, and so do those names — everything PostHog stores is named with the ph_ or __ph_ prefix, and nothing else on this site uses either.

dmk_sid is essential: it exists to prevent misuse of the assistant, not to analyse your behaviour, so it is set whether or not you accept analytics cookies.

We do not use session replay: no recording is made of your screen, your mouse movement, your typing, or your conversation with the assistant.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect legal, technical or operational changes. The latest version will always be available on this page together with the revision date.
